Look of the day: Ralph Lauren at NYFW

One of the world’s most important fashion week has begun and is already taking New York by storm with iconic shows and trends that promise to be a hit next season. And of course, to start off on the right foot, I kicked off the week by attending Ralph Lauren‘s show.

For the occasion, I chose an outfit in shades of brown, from the Mocha Mousse palette, chosen by Pantone as the color of the year. The choice reflects not only sophistication, but also the strength of earthy tones, which continue to be popular on the runways and in street style.

The monochromatic look

The chosen production combines modernity and timelessness. The monochromatic look with classic pieces, such as the trench coat and pumps, stands out even more in a warm and elegant palette.

Mocha Mousse, a soft brown with a velvety undertone, takes center stage in the composition, reflecting the sophisticated aesthetic that Ralph Lauren represents.

Therefore, I opted for accessories also in warm tones, creating visual harmony and reinforcing the minimalist and refined styling proposal.

According to Pantone, Mocha Mousse is the color of 2025, due to its versatility and ability to convey warmth and sophistication at the same time. Thus, present in both tailored pieces and accessories, the shade is dominating closets and even makeup.
